does anybody know how to do cross stitch?

Did it come with directions? You take the material and fold it into quarters to find the middle. That is where you start. The directions should have the middle marked. There are different stitches but the most common one that you use you stitch across from the middle left to right stitches like /////// then you go back over the same row with \\\\\\\\\ then go to your next row that should get you started.

When I started cross stitching years ago, I used to buy kits that had the colors printed right on them. It was so much easier first starting out, then after you have done a couple of these kits, then you could do the kits that have the colored codes in the directions.

try not to get mad at sewing but there are many starter kits that explain it quite well you should get one at the craft store
