The United States is the self proclaimed world super power and it has yet to sign the Kyoto Agreement to slow down global warming on a national scale. Many US cities and states are independantly adopting its resolutions in order to try and force the government to do something on a national level. What are your opinions on the Kyoto Protocol, and how are the American people supposed to convince this already screwed up egotistical government to ratify the protocol?

At least Obama is now making a step in the right direction. Although the cuts the US has promised in CO2 are smaller in percentage terms that the EU, even though US emissions per person are around double the EU's. America has the highest CO2 emissions per person so should be making the biggest cuts.
