Where? I'd love to see it. Can we paste the links here?

This is the type of discussion we need on MyLot. A place to name and shame the offenders. One of my discussions was copied and pasted but I guess there is not much point in pasting the links as I reported it to MyLot and now the offender seems to have had his account closed. However I noticed one of your comments was copied and pasted on one of my discussions. Here are the links: BittyBiddy’s comment: http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/451016.aspx?p=1 Terita’s comment below – copied and pasted word for word, even as far as the punctuation marks. http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/451016.aspx?p=10 I hope MyLot will ban this copycat.

Thank you for pasting that link. I also saw this but couldn't find the link when I posted this. I will be returning to this thread and posting any other copycat links that I find.

http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/458194.aspx Look at post number 5. It's a copy of the original post.

Not seen any hijacked but plenty that just repeat the discussions of other, instead of looking around a little and finding an existing posts. In fact somebody has just begun a thread about a subject I started yesterday.

Sometimes subjects can be repeated which is unfortunate, but hijacked threads are where users deliberately copy and paste other people's threads as their own. Also, there are posters who copy and paste other people's answers, or they copy and paste stuff that they see on the internet and then post it as their own without giving any credit to the original author. Then there are users who answer just "yes" to a post when the post doesn't even require a yes or no answer. Example Question: What sort of food do you like? Example answer: Yes I have seen this so many times and it's very annoying. One poster who continuously does it is someone with the number 900 after his name. I'll see can I find him, but I won't be surprised if someone else comes along and names him before I get a chance to.
