Are you in favour of having one child only?

I had a discussion the other day. And the topic came up about having one child or two in a family. Some people said one child as that gives you a lot of freedom and quality time towards the one child you have and towards yourself also. You can lead your life as you like , go out when you want to for a vacation, despite always thinking about two exams, two homeworks etc. What do you think? Is having one child better than having two kids?

i think two will be better.if there is one child there is more possibility that the child to be an adament.the kid doesn't know about sharing, giving etc.the child will feel lonely.so i think 2 will be good.though there will be fights, but yet it is loveable.

While having one child would in fact leave you more time for that child alone I feel that two children is better. With two there is that special sibling relationship. When the adults are doing their own thing the kids have someone to enjoy their activities with as well. I think it's important to have someone to enjoy life with and while that might sound odd when speaking of children, I believe it applies just the same. Some parents must work everyday until after their children are out of school. It is these simple little things, having someone at home after they come home from school that can make all the difference. My fiance and I plan on having two.
