I have agoraphobia as well. I recommend that you start taking a small piece of malatonin when you feel a panic attack coming on. Don't take the full dose. Drink java java after you have calmed down from a big event e.i; going to the therapist, "having" to go out to the store, etc.. Meditation works wonders. Find a quiet spot in the house with sunshine in the room and meditate on something that makes you feel good. It is rough, I know. I'm dependant on my mother and she doesn't understand this disorder at all. But, these are the things that I have learned through my doctor. I take medication only when I really have to because it makes me loopy and I don't like feeling that way.

Malatonin is a natural sleeping aid that you can get over the counter in any pharmacy. We have malatonin already in our brain but this natural malatonin counter acts with the seratonin so that you can relax your nerves. Take a small amount so that you don't fall asleep. Meditation is going into a prayer like state. Example: closing your eyes in a quiet room and thinking of something that comforts you. I usually go into my back room, I sit down on the floor on a soft blanket and think of gardens. It helps relax the mind so that I don't get nervous when there are other people around. Add me as a friend if you wish, I can try to help as much as possible. I'm more of an herbal medicated person and wish to know more about the perscriptions. I may have to be on them and it scares me.
