Which do you think does more damage? Sitting in from of a computor all day or reading? Is it worse to be reading from a computor than it is from a book? I would really like to know this because I have been on the computor alot latley and I need to know how bad it is for me.

I is the computor hands down. I wear glasses for reading and also for the computor. They put something on the lens of your glasses to protect them.

Its depend on the situation. If you are reading while you are in bed and there is no sufficient light to use in. And while you are in front of your computer for a whole day then wash you face without giving your eyes a rest. Then, you choose.

i think where books are availabe we should opt for them rather than computers as they do have some negative effect on our eyesight.

The eye doctor told my daughter that computer usage effects the eyes especially if you are on it for extended hours. What happens is the muscles in your eyes are trained for up close range distance. This is essence effects your eyes long distant range. The suggestion to my daughter besides wearing glasses for computer usuage was to take a break evry 20 minutes and look outside as far as you can see. If close range computer effects the eyes, I guess the same would apply to reading. But computers, I think do more damage because of the screen resolutions, I'm sure that plays more havoc on the eyes than a printed page in a book.
