Love or hate them? I like to run around outside in the garden with my kids and feel the power of nature around us, it's the best fun! What do you think?

I find it a bit wierd in the car if I have to drive, but I quite like it as a passenger, acroplaning in puddles can be scary, outside is my favourite, either the garden or the beach, don't think a forrest would be a good idea and there ren't any near me anyway.

I love thunderstorms too if I am inside a safe building. I would not like running around outside as it is a good way to get hit by lightning. I actually know a few people this has happened to. My oldest daughter has always been absolutely terrified of storms and we can't figure out why because nobody else in the family is afraid. I have recently met some people from California who have never in their lives witnessed a thunderstorm. They about freaked out the first time they experienced thunder, lightning, hail, and the threat of a tornado! I can't wait for them to see their first blizzard.

My mama (mums mum) used to cover the mirrors and hide under the table. My boyfriend tell our boys to keep away from the windows, but they love it like I do. Perhaps the noise hurts your daughters ears, it can be a bit suprising when the lightening hits too. I hope you don't laugh too much at your new friends if you are there for their first tornado or blizzard, they may not understand why you find it amusing, I do too.

One of these peole is about 35 years old and has never seen a flake of snow in his life. I love the looks on their faces when they see it for the first time. It is a look of wonder and amazement. You can see it on tv but it just is never the same as being there in person and experiencing it yourself.

aaaaah that's fantastic. I'm in England and it's exciting when we get snow and winter would be magical for my boys with more but we only get the sloppy type, not like Canada and posh shiing places. I can't imagine naver seeing snow, it's like me going to a wildlife park where the big amimals never fail to amaze me.

I like thunderstorms but I wouldnt got outside and take my kids outside to play in them. But if there is no lightning yeah we like to play in the storm. It gets cold sometimes but we enjoy seeing who gets wetter.

We go out and run around getting wet and cold, it's good for the kids to not be afraid and it helps ma asthma too. It's always worse before a storm so when the power unleashes I find it's best to be outside in the clean storm air, probably something to do with air quality aswell.

I hate storms, but my hubby likes to go out and watch them it scares me when he does it but I don't want to be the one to keep him from doing something he likes.
