Does Looks Matter as an Ambassador of Christ?

I personally do not know Jeremy Camp, just searched him to get an idea. First, I think it depends on your target market, if you want to reach Rockers or young people then maybe it's ok to look like one but with different attitude. Second, it's the heart that matters. I know a long haired youth pastor, he is such an effective leader and motivator. On the other hand, simple looking Christian might attract more simple looking people. Really depends but as I've mentioned it's the heart that matters, only God knows!

I personally like Jeremy Camp's music and I'm not real big into ROCK music. I find his music is enjoyable to ponder the words and the tunes are catchy. Yes, some older people prefer the classics and there's nothing wrong with it. There is some Christian Rock that I find myself not able to tolerate, because its just too much like the world that even the words to it are very difficult to understand enough to recognize if they're honoring the Lord or not. I do believe God loves music though....all types of music, hey he created it. For me the intent, purpose, and meaning of the words in the music are crucial. Everyone has their own likes and dislikes. I've found as I left the teenage years, my choices of music have changed. Maybe its the era I grew up in or something, but Jeremy is right up my alley as far as music goes.
