What is Area 51?

i've heard of a place called area 51
somewhere near Mexico.What is this place.
I also know that it has got the highest security,provided by the US millitary.
Why is it? whats inside the area?

That is where the alien spacecraft supposedly crashed in the middle of the last century, & no one actually knows what is there because the military keeps it under very high security.

It's a military base that specializes in experimental aircraft. That's why it's so secure. It also could explain "UFO" sightings around that area.

area 51 was formally known as the air force test flight center. it's located in near lincoln, nevada.it has been the center of many ufo and alien conspiracy theories. i feel that the government is hiding the truth about ufo's from us. it could be possible that they are in regular contact with us, and their government has reached some peace agreement with ours. i also feel the truth about the jfk assassination is being hidden from us.
