Santa- how did the whole concept originated

Well, there's actually a real Santa but without flying reindeers and elves. St. Nicholas was the Santa a long ago. He gave the children gifts especially the needy. Until his name leads to misunderstanding the way it's spoken that made it Santa.

I remember reading about this from somewhere. I just don't remember the whole details right now. But, someone did it to make kids happy or something like that.

There was one Saint Nicholas he had lots of money and used to help poor people.From him this concept of Santa started.
