What is the best dog?

What is the best kind of dog, or your favorite dog? I want a beagle or a sharpei. Do you know any good or bad traits of these two kinds of dogs?

oh. i don't know those dogs. the only dog i love is chow chow. the rough one. they look like bears and can weigh up to 30 kilograms. they love to sleep and they love to play. they are good guards and good pets, too.

the best dog is either a rottweiler, german shepard or doberman
beacuse they are big and angry

I'm not a fan of big, scary dogs. My dad got attacked by a chow when I was a little kid, like 9 or 10, and it was traumatizing. I need something little, that's sweet & not vicious. My friend has a Rottweiler and he's a total baby but I am still nervous around him.
