buying a machine from the u.s.a is it best to rewire or use a transformer

this machine has a motor that powers 7 water jet sprays to clean golf clubs,so it will be turned on and off a lot of times during the day,i need to know what is the best way to go on this,rewire or get a transformer.I need to go from 110volt to 240volt british standard,
