flower horn fish

Anyone has a fish as a pet? Our family had several fish pet from gold fish to angel fish and our latest is the flower horn. It is said that flower horn fish is from the Cichlid family. Someone told me that fish from cichlid family shouldn't be join to any other breed because there is a tendency that one will eat the other. but i am not really sure about this. my pet flower horn is about 3 inches long. he's also less than a month old. i saw his head bulge from that tiny normal head and now it looks like it's brain is coming out of it's head. ohh! this is my second flower horn i sold my first flower horn to a pet shop.
