C'mon, have you caught yourself getting into the cartoons your kids watch?? I'm not talking about Anime here, I'm talking about regular cartoons. I have gotten into some of the cartoons my kids started watching, I can't help it. Some of the idea's and storylines are just amazing, and sometimes I get a little excited while watching it, like I was a kid again. I mean classic cartoons like Looney Toons, Scooby-Doo and Tom & Jerry never go out of style, but the new ones they're coming up with are just really good. These are some of the ones I've gotten into... Codename: Kids Next Door The Adventures of Billy & Mandy The Life & Times of Juniper Lee Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends Ben 10 Totally Spies Code Lyoko Teen Titans ...these are some.. what about you guys???...I know you do...so be honest.

I don't have any kids, but I love cartoons. And Fosters is like #1 on my list, too, well, I also like Sitting Ducks (it was short-lived, but if you can find it, it's AWESOME - and it tells good lessons to kids). I've watched Kids Next Door, my fiance & I love Billy & Mandy but that show used to be actually Grim & Evil (& Billy & Mandy were just part of it) - I don't know what Juniper Lee or Ben 10 is, I like Totally Spies, I don't know what Code Lyoko is, Teen Titans is okay. So, yeah, I watch cartoons and I'm 24 - so what! :) I am not planning on getting old any time soon, what about you?

Juniper Lee...A girl who kicks butt. - cartoon
thats cool, well i'm 23...i acutally got my brother in law into fosters, i knew that billy & mandy came from grim & evil, they still play some of that stuff on the cartoon cartoon show. juniper lee is good because its a chinese girl fighting to keep the balance between the magic world and the human world, they normally play it on friday nights and code lyoko is duing maguzi in the afternoons, i think it comes from france, but the storyline is interesting, these kids go into this virtural world.

Oh I was thinking this exact thing earlier. Creepy. But yeah I sit and watch the cartoons I put on for my 18 month old. He loves Barney (something I swore I would never watch) and I know the songs and I get excited when my son gets excited. I just love watching his expressions. But like other cartoons that he watches sponge bob square pants, wonder pets, back yardigans, teletubbies, I know the theme songs to these word for word.

yes I am hooked to this two cartoon from Japan. They are Crayon Shinchan and Doraemon. At first I didn't want to give attention to it but when my nephews and niece (they are all kid beyond 12 years old) didn't want to do anything else but glued in front of the tv set, I figured there must be something very interesting about these cartoons. so I started watching with them one day and become hooked after that for the rest of my life. LOL

LoL!! I have to admit, I do like some of them. My fav is spongebob cause he is such a dork!!! And I love the faces that he makes!! I also love Danny Phantom and Teen Titans...oh, and Jimmy Neutron. I like watching Nick. It is so cute cause my 11 month old will literally stop what ever he is doing, and depending on where he is will crawl over to the t.v, just to watch spongebob!! But ya, the classics will never go out of style!! I still watch them too from time to time!!

I also watched the cartoons my kids are watching. I let him watch playhouse Disney because it is very educational and really for kids around 1-5 yo. My son is only 2 right now and he is still in his very first stage of learning that’s why I let him watch playhouse Disney. And sometimes in nick (dora the explorer) I really like dora. Hehehe.. and my son pronounced it as DOLA.. ? Last summer my kids are in their grandparents house in the province for 1 ½ months. Even if they are not around me and my hubby is still watching playhouse Disney.. hehehe.

Yes I do watch the cartoons that my child is watching, for some reasons that it might be not suitble for his age of 2 years. I don't let him watch the Mr.Bean animated series because he might imitate Mr.Bean and as we all know he's a little weird. Now I let him watch Playhouse Disney Channel and Nick Jr., he often try to dance and sing along with the music, it's so adorable to watch him dance and sing..

Yup, I see all cartoon my kid sees. This way I can communicate well about the story and refrain the moral of the story when necessary. My kid loves Avatar - The Legend of Ang, Rugrats, Rocket Power, Tom & Jerry, Scoby-Doo, and Tintin - the movie. I kinda like it myself... :D

One thing to remember is that even though these shows are directed towards children, they are written by adults. Many have underlying themes and symbolism that can be interpreted by adults and children alike. A great example fot this is disney. Their movies can be enjoyed by children and adults alike. The Muppet show was another example (though not a cartoon), I watched it right along side my own parents when I was young, and we both enjoyed it for different reasons.

I agree. I love Disney movies because they actually try to have a story line that an adult would enjoy too. They are not just mindless drivel with no plot or point to them. And Disney always adds in jokes and gags that only adults would understand. Sure they are funny to kids but the adults understand the meaning behind them making them even more funny. I am usually just as excited to get a new Disney movies as my kids. We watched Cars several times in the first few days we had it. I loved that movie. Loved the Incredibles, too. And Shrek. It's not a Disney movie but the Shrek movies are hilarious for both kids and adults.

Well, I also watch cartoons along with my kids. Most interesting ones are Tom and Jerry, Road Runner, Scooby Doo. By watching these comedy cartoon shows everybody can relieve tensions for time being by laughing. As laughing is a good exercise for the health. The other ones which are very good for tiny kids that is below five years like nody, kipper. Some comedy movies like Mr Beans which is being shown in these channels are having some what vulgarity, which should be avioded. Presently children may be enjoying this vulgarity, but after sometime they may also try to do themselves in real life like pushing others to gain access, are pinching the front perseon while in que, etc. What do you say?... Be honest.
