Does anyone have the same opinion as me, that scientists, in their research, having pre-concieved ideas of what they're searching for, completely ignore, or don't understand any new findings they stumble across on the way to investigating a certain subject.

No dude. No theory can be final until the other theory dispositions it. so till then we need to live with the present day scientists theory :-)
