My most favorite food in the world is a pastry. I love sweet little cakes, and the biggest craving I have right now is a chocolate swiss roll (a ho ho from hostess). It is a chocolate cake that is thinned out and a creamy frosting or cream is then spread over this thin piece of chocolate cake. It is rolled up and covered chocolate frosting. I like to eat the outer layer of chocolate first. I peel of the frosted chocolate and eat that. Then I try to unroll it and lick out the cream stuff. The last part I eat is the thin layer of chocolate cake! My boyfriend thinks I'm crazy eating my chocolate swiss roll this way. Does anyone have a recipe for homemade chocolate swiss rolls? It'd be fun to make one instead of buying Hostess swiss rolls. Thanx.
