A man's spirit sustains him in sickness, but a crushed spirit who can bear?

Maybe we have lived in some tragedies, troubles and terrible things in 2006. And what we have learned about it? I've asked about "What lessons that you've learned in 2006?" and I've got more than 90 responses. Some of them talked about troubles, tragedies and terrible things. But, I still have a question. Why some people are still alive and some people crushed? What do you think?

I think like the verse you quoted from the Proverbs. The spirit to be alive that have made people alive. No matter how big the sickness, tragedies, terrible things.

No matter how big they are, if man have the spirit, we could get through all the problems..But, I think we still need God's grace. Thanks for the opinion. I really appreciate it.

time gives us the ability to get through these problems and if we have friends it is even better

I agree about friends, but I don't think that time will give us the ability to get through..Sometimes we still can do nothing, though we got time..I think the spirit of man from God who made man pass through all the problems. Thanks for the opinion. I really appreciate it.
