What is a broken heart?

"Broken heart" for majority of people means suffering from a "FORSAKEN LOVE". But , for me, this does not only pertain to "LOVE THING" but it refers to any FAILURE or FRUSTRATION from the most loved and cherished person, ambition, and/or anything/anyone, you hold on to; that you would not imagine to forsake you, fail you or leave you. By the way, this is the worst thing I'd like to feel..Broken hearted ...
