I don't usually do much of either but if I had to choose, I would say I'd rather watch tv. I do look at magazines sometimes but I hardly ever read a book anymore.

It would depend on the show on tv and the book I was reading. Last night there was a show on tv I wanted to watch. I was reading a really good book, but set my alarm for when the show started in case I was so engrossed in my book I forgot. I got the best of both worlds.

It really depends on my mood but most of the time I would probably choose a book.

I would totally rather watch TV. However sometimes when my nerves are messed up the TV makes it worse and i would rather have silence and maybe do a crossword puzzle for a bit.

A carrot.. or a bag of chips...? A book... or Tv..? I'll go with the chips, and the TV.

It depends what mood i'm in. If i'm really tired or something goods on TV, i'd rather do that. It also depends if I have a good book or magazine.

This is not a clear cut situation with me. I LOVE reading and have all my life. But I find that I seem to let tv get in the way of reading as much as I would like to. It does depend on the show and the book though. If I am into a really awesome book, I will be readiing that over anything that comes on tv. However, if a favorite show or movie is on, I will most likely be watching it. lol

I far prefer watching tv, especially now that we have Sky. I am a right telly addict! Programmes like Stargate, Malcolm in the Middle and soaps you cannot read from books. I am a very slow reader and I have to to be in the mood to sit down and read a book which is not often. I guess I am lazy in that I prefer just to relax and watch television than to get stuck into a book.

There are things that we can learn from TV and from reading. For me, its better to read a book than to watch TV that only bad images of the government are being talked about, a book than to wait and be irritated to so many commercials, a book than to see cruelty on TV. I know that these are not all the time, but you see if there's nothing good to watch I'd rather read a book.

I like to watch TV. To me, it's faster and I can see what's going on, not get eye strain, and not have to try so hard. But I do enjoy reading audiobooks whenever I can.

my preference always will be TV? becuase with tv we can swithc form one channel to another channel when we get bored, the same case is not true in case of books, if we get bored of one topic we cannot switch as easily as we switch between the channels , because of limited numbder og books we will have always
