I am writing an article for publication on the topic of decision or destiny. I have definitions of fate, decision, destiny, and info about the Fates, from Greek and roman mythology. The Fates are the 3 goddesses Clotho, Lachesis, and Atropos who control human destiny. What I am looking for is information on famous people so others can determine if thier lot was a consious decision, or was it their destiny. And also quotes that include the words decision or destiny. who said the quote and where you found it at. A couple of examples I will use may be George Washington, was it a decision to chop down the tree, or intervention that determined his destiny. Another example may be personal experience such as, was it destiny that my parents got divorced and forced us to move to another town where I met my husband of 29 years or was it decision and I just got lucky?
