dual sim card adapter

i have put dual sim card adapter in my mobile samsung sgh-n700, but i have to turn the power off of the mobile to turn on the other sim ...tell me about that how can i work with both sim at same time without doing power on and off,,,,,

i think thats how it is working. i have that as well with my phone and i have to turn it on and off just to go to the other sim
