i m using a pen drive 128mb.it has some data in it.now when i write something on pen drive or try to delete a data from that drive..even if i try to format it..IT SHOWS THAT THE DISK IS WRITE-PROTECTED.REMOVE WRITE PROTECTION FIRST.now what to do.i can still read some data in it.it is out of warranty

Not sure what is the brand of your pen drive. But some of the pen-drive does have a tiny switch or button which you could toggle it to read-only mode or read-write mode. If you still couldn't figure it out, you can try search for the online manual in the manufacturer website or look for your original manual which comes together with package when you bought it. (Since you said the warranty expired, then i assume the manual might have lost)
