I honestly have never met my godparents. They were friends of my parents when they were living in Florida and they haven't talked to them in decades.

I do not have God parents. I do have them for my kids though. They are actually their adoptive Grandparents. They are financially sound and have bee around the kids all of their lives. They know them just like us. We have thought about changing because of them having health problems. We have another family that they know well that we would trust with them if something were to happen. They are strong with family values, are financially sound, and are reg. church goers like ourselves.
