Well I do not get boiling on such small matters, cause has to be big enough for me to reach my boiling point.Well my boiling point comes when a person who hardly knows about my field of work comments on my work.

I get really irritated when my husband and son use the bathroom and leave the light on. Of course they leave the toilet seat up, too, but I'm used to that!

semi-opened door (lil bit open), we were used to that in our house ever since but only in daytime, not when we go to sleep.

Maybe i have a bad temper. If i close the door, that means i closed it for a reason. if i left it open, maybe i forgot to close it. Same with everything else. If i clean the house, i cleaned it because i like it clean. dont dirty it up. if i vacume the back of my car, dont throw ur trash in the floor. Humans do things a certain way because thats the way they like it or they were raised to do it. if it belongs to you then it should stay in the condition you left it in or you want it in.

Lol I do love having my door closed. But I don't necessarily get pissed when someone comes in and then leaves without closing it. I just get up and close it myself. The only time it irritates me is if I'm in a situation, such as laying in bed studying with books on my legs, where it is a hassle to have to get up and close the door. But oh well...I deal with it.

i think it is better to have a remote-controlled or voice-activated door for closing and opening, electronics (kits) are now cheap.. thanks for responding

well it depends on the person who leave the door without closing it. i do not burst on each and every body. if the person who do this is elder to me then i do not say anything. i just stand up and close the door but if it is a child or someone younger to me then i tell him or her that how bad it is and you should always close the door

My son does that. The middle of winter and he goes out for a smoke and thinks it's okay to leave the door open because he's coming right back in. He's a munchkin for sure. I grew up not allowed to turn on lights in the house. Weird but that was the law. Now I go around turning on lights and leaving them on and my wife follows me around turning them off. :) My wife is perfect and never does anything wrong. Okay I made that up but I love and let her get away with the silly things she does without thinking. My boiling point though various from day to day because of medication I have to take for my heart. Some days I can put up with a lot other days I just wake up annoyed.
