It's always difficult compare, in any sport, players that didn't play at the same time. Jack Nicklaus is older than Tiger Woods. In my opinion jack was the best but I have also to say that Tiger is really one of the best golfer in the world.

In my place, golf has been a game played by the rich people only. But now more people from different classes participate in the sport. However, I did'nt try the game. I pay little attention to news about the sport too. I guess Tiger Woods is more famous because there are more TV news about him broadcast in my place.
