Holday activities for kids???

Anyone have any ideas besides crafts? I have a six year old going to be bored to death, and money is tight. She is about crafted out. The tree is sagging from so many homemade ornaments.lol What do ya'll suggest?

You can take her and some friends to the local nursing home to sing to the elderly. Or she could read a book or two about the various holidays celebrated at this time of year so she has a better understanding of their meanings.

Thats a good idea. I forgot about the nursing homes. We did that with Ga's when I was a girl. She is a read aholic also. She loves, loves to go to the library. Thanks for the ideas.
