Going to the dentist costs a fortune nowadays and I dread going. How much does a trip to the dentist cost you? It's about £40 each time I go.

I dont go as often as I should, I really hate dentists! Because I am classed as disabled I get all my dentist treatment free.

I've been trying to find an NHS dentist because surely as I am unemployed I shouldn't have to be the exorbitant rates of a private dentist.

I go twice a year for an NHS check up ... I haven't needed any work doing for the last 15 years .. and since winning myself one of those whizzy sonic electric toothbrushes I haven't even needed a clean and polish doing ... :o) But the last time I went for a check up and had the clean and polish it was only about £12 .. certainly no more than £15 ... Do you have a private dentist .. as it seems a lot of money just for a check up ?
