Is MySpace a dangerous place?

As an adult, I only accept friend requests from people that I actually know. I use the website to keep in touch with people I've known from all over the world. I've never had any issue with anyone on there, but I hear all the time about how dangerous it is. I do think that as a parent, if your child has an account, it should be set to private, and you should also have your child's password and are constantly monitering what is happening on their page. What do you think?

No I think Myspace is a safe place for kids. They take a lot of precautions for underage people.

I think children should be given their privacy if they are old enough to use a site like Myspace. They shouldn't however be allowed to meet anyone they have met on the internet.
