MADD Cuts Ties With Miss Teen USA

With allegations of illegal drinking, MADD (Mothers Against Drunk Driving) has cut ties with Miss Teen USA.
What do you think? I for one agree with the choice. How can someone promote something when they are actually doing the opposite? I'm not saying she's been drinking and driving but she has been under-age drinking.

What?! I didn't hear about that in the news. Thanks for the link! I kind of have to agree with MADD. Miss Teen USA is supposed to be a good role model for other kids/girls. Even if she is not drinking and driving, she is still drinking when she's underage for it, which is still illegal in America. Severing the ties with her puts the message out that it is not approved, or tolerated, in any way, shape or form: whether she is driving or not. If they continued without breaking the ties with her, they would be silently condoning that behaviour (even though they disapproved of her actions), and for that decision, I applaud them.
