There is only one God

I feel that for all religions, there is only one God. This means that the God in Christianity, is the same as the God in Buddhism, etc etc. When people say stuff like, "Jesus is God". I think that Jesus is God's son, not God. I'm confused with christianity sometimes. So do you agree with me? the fact that all religions are similar, and that God for everyone is the same, it's just that people name him differently, like Allah, and stuff like that.

What is the meaning of 'God'? If we mean God as the Supreme Being then we are like ants to God. Can I be concerned about the behaviour of an ant? Can an ant be concerned about my behaviour assuming that it has the brain capacity to think about me? Similarly it is not within the capacity of our present brain to even imagine about the capacity of God. Also He being the Supreme being is least concerned about us. It is only our inflated egos which leads us to believe that He can be concerned about us. Similarly it is futile to wonder about him and best to get on with our lives and pursue our passions.
