For all cricket lovers. Here is an interesting analysis that I am researching on. Now name a few great teams of the past (international teams I meant)...... Yeah, the Windies team of the 70s and the early 80s.... the Aussie team headed by the great Don Bradman himself in the 30-50 era.... the Aussie team of early 80s... the South african team (before the apartheid ban) and immediately after their return (90s)... the current reigning and undisputed champions the Marauding Aussies of the 90s and the 21st Century... It has been observed that all the above mentioned teams had players of great calibre and deep hunger for success and more importantly a strong passion for the game. But what happened after the exodus of its great players. Were the teams as successful or great after the progression ? I am still researching on the topic and am likely to post lots of material for discussion...sorry it take some time as I have to do it in spare time. I invite the readers also to contribute tid bits of info available with them. I intend to collect all these articles n use it for evolving strategems. Watch out this space for more on the subject. Regards, Parttimer.
