I live in a mulitcultural country (Australia) and its rather interestring with the mix of cultures I encounter on a daily basis. I get annoyed with some people though, especially when The have poor english skills. Now, I have no problem with any customs that different cultural groups have. The whole concept of a mulit cultural society is to allow people to maintain their cultural identity even after they migrate. But The official language of this country is English, and to live here it should be a requirement that you can fluently communicate. After being annoyed by this for years I sort of long for a mono cultural society. The question I suppose I am asking - Which do you live in - a Monocultural or multicultural society, and what would you perfer? Do you find the culture gap a little hard to bridge sometimes? Um, yeah, just discuss the topic.
