I like to take both.. especially while sitting on computer or studying.. but sometime i feel that both are not good much for health and stomach. What you know scientifically either of the two are benificial or harmfull for health...

the fact is that tea and cofee are good for health as they contain antioxidants, tea in particular.but large amounts can cause gastic irritation.particularly in an empty stomach and prolonged irritation can also lead to susceptibility to gastric ulcers

As Shalila said, both contain antioxidants, but caffeine can affect your blood pressure, digestion and sleeping patterns, coffee can be bad for your teeth (always brush right away!) I'm a barista and I push the stuff, but I think one to two cups of caffeinated beverages early in the day are quite enough. If you want something to help you stay alert, mint tea (Starbucks sells one called Refresh) is very helpful, and good for the digestion. Keeping yourself hydrated is also very good for maintaining your energy level. Fruit smoothies with protein like those by Odwalla are also good for sustained energy. I hope this information is helpful!

Tea is actually very healthy for you, even healthier than water as it contains antioxidants. Green tea is incredibly healthy, but it's not a good idea to drink too much tea either. Always consume everything in moderation!
