Why do people keep starting discussions about myLot "earnings"? Is it REALLY that important? There are so many topics about "Why are mylot taking money", "How do you make money". One guy even went so far as to calculate the different ways you could make money. To me it's not a job. Some people think they're "working" for myLot.This is not a money making opportunity. It's an opportunity to have discussions but be rewarded in a small way by the site. It's pocket money that's all. And if more people looked at it this way then there wouldn't be so many silly discussions starting up.

You must respect their beliefs for as long as their not bothering you. Do you celebrate Christmas? If yes, I will take this opportunity to greet you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year (though is not yet Dec. 25, I may not have a chance to greet you anymore so I will do it now). http://dchallenger.blogdrive.com

yeh, I don't care that people post about it, I'm just tired of having to search through pages of discussions for a decent one that would even be worth my time of commenting on.

Yes, I think a lot of it is hype. I think a lot of people think that they will make big money though but it is very time consuming.

I think that you are just partially right because here can be made some real money if you just know how, it is not just some pocket money for some because they would have left this site for a long time. Just look at how many people are in this site 47 000. Pretty much as 4 towns like mine. Good luck!

I think some of those don't post very much though. I see one person earned $97 but it took over 10,000 posts. If I get a job in McDonald's I can make that much money in 10 hours. I bet it took over 10 hours to make 10,000 posts.

I also agree with you. But no one work freely in this world unless there is some benefit. I found this is a very good site for discussion. I found lot of discussions on various. This is one of my regular visiting sites. But the thing is we are getting money here.

Actually I think there are features that should be added to make discussion more interesting. I think that if I post to a discussion I should have an option to receive a reply on that discussion if someone else posts instead of having to keep going into discussions all the time and searching for it.

There's much easier ways of earning money online than this, I mean it's pittance. People use similar sites for free anyway. I think it would be a lot better if there was less pointless posts and replies. I haven't been here long and the copying and pasting of other people's replies that I see occurring are already bugging me. I definitely do not consider sites like this as work...

There are valid reasons for their asking these questions. 1. Many people before coming to mylot had been to other sites which were scams and here they wanted to ensure that it is not. 2. By not reading the guidelines of mylot, they wanted to know how to open a account in paypal, how to encash etc. 3. Several times, there were glitches in mylot counters and earnings counter too. Many responses were not counted. Annoucements regarding money earnings kept changing within minutes (from higher to lower amount). 4. For thousands of people, this is really money making (extra money) site. They badly need this extra cash to meet the ends. 5. Regarding silly posts, people come from various parts of the world, their level of understanding is different, their level of living is different and their level of education is different, their thinking level is also different. One has to put up with it, because this is a free site. If you dislike silly posts, just skip and look out for quality posts.

Many are in it just for the money. That is indeed true. As for the "MyLot paid me" discussions, it does help to prove that MyLot is not just a scam. Going back into my own experience, when I first signed up & jumped in, my earnings stayed at 0 instead of updating immediately. While there are those few with some level of intelligence to figure out that the earnings will be added later on, others would jump in, but not see their earnings move, & then start a discussion about their earnings. As for questions about "How do you make money?" My favorite reply is "go out & buy a printer." The guy who did the calculations, it was probably more of a "WOO HOO! I can do math!" Someone did respond with about in some places, $10 is very little to some of us, but a lot of money in some countries. That was UNICEF's saying to try to get people to donate something, even if it was small.

100$ - Money
I think they are serious about earning money for living. I am here inside MyLot, just for making fun, sharing discussion, and understanding people’s opinion. I am not doing part-time job nor flirting females for money over here. Just keep going discussion if I have time enough.

I'm amazed to see so many people agreeing with me, but relieved too. I thought I was going to get an ear bashing for this thread. I can't believe people would do this for a living. Maybe where they live the average wages aren't that great. I'd love to know. Here the national minimum wage is EUR 8.66 per hour or something.

hey, i wasnt being rude, so please show the same curtiosy to me. you started this discussion, so dont get mad when someone interprets it a different way than you meant.

Well, firstly I'm not your "hunny" and secondly this is a rant about people who keep posting about earnings. It's not actually discussing the earnings, although now and again that has happened. Now if you want to "hunny" someone then get thee off to a thread where someone is suffering from loneliness or something.

You say that it is pocket money and you are right, for me it is and maybe for u and alot more, but for people that come from very poor and unexpensive countries it might not be that. I saw one from the philipines for an example who could pay rent and even buy some food with her monthly income from mylot, so I do understand that some are very interested in what´s going on!

That's a good point but I think they should also try to post interesting conversations. I realise the language barrier is difficult for some of them too but topics like "What is phone" and "What is tv", or "Do you like myLot" are not very beneficial to the site. I think it would be great if in time myLot would have different language sites.

Be Happy - make god proud for creating human
what ever it is, the idea of compensating the engine that drives the whole internet industry(the user) is great and should be appreciated. anyway when big organisations and business men are making thro internet why not the user? its all business and money. so we cannot blame anyone for that matter...as long as it works and its good. its upto an individual to decide whether he should be in or out depending on his preference and necessities..

I am here for fun, it's not about the money, it's about asking others how they feel about things and finding out swomething if you need to get pen off your sofa or deal with a situation that you cannot understand easily. I couldn't care less about the money really, but it's nice to be able to give it to charity or get the kids a little something with it now and again.

Partly it's laziness, me thinks. Why try and come up with an INTERESTING discussion when one can simply post a self-centered and obvious one, not caring if it's the nth variation on the theme of "how much money have you made in myLot?" Also, it's part greed. When I signed on to myLot, I understood that the amount of money I make here will be, as you say, pocket change, and will greatly depend on my participation on the site. Argh. Silly discussions indeed!

It seems that some of mylot members are looking at it as a "money making" site and they try to make the most out of it with the least effort and they are really abusing the system, those are plain cheaters. But other members try to contribute and post good discussions but at the same time looking for some reward even to pay their connection subscription fees as some said, there's nothing wrong in making some money but I think the cheaters who are only in for the money should be removed.

I believe that myLot contributes for a better discution around the world. Some people never stoped and just looked for a real discussion about something. So, here, now, we can view most part of the people discussing aobut the threads.
