I posted this in another discussion, but couldn´t get any responses so I will try again! Tomorrow I will go and buy the last X-mas gift.. and it is for my boyfriend. The thing is that this guy really has everything and don´t really need something :-) He´s always telling me that i do not need to get him something, that he is happy just with the fact that we are spending x-mas together. This is out firts x-mas together and we are celibrating itwith my family (We have been together for 11 months and are living together) The thing is -- I do know of ONE thing that he really, really wants coz he said so several times in the past but i am not sure if i should get it or not. He might think that I am sending Toooo much on his gift. The gift will be around $300 dollars.. Is that to much or is it ok? Advice please!

As its your first Christmas together it sets the stage for the next one. If this is how you want ot go, buy it. Its a very special time for a new couple- first Christmas together- first birthday together etc.. I think its worth celebrating with a big splash out. Im taking my man on holiday and its all booked and paid for and cost a lot more than that so go for it and I hope he appreciates it.

Good for you. The time may come when maybe a house and children may be the main priority financially and you may not be able to indulge each other so enjoy it while you can.

I think you should buy him this gift if you really can afford it. Your boyfriend will appreciate it though he will probably say that you didn't need to buy such thing.
