Should kids spending 9.4hrs. per week online, gaming and watching tv?

I don't believe 9.4 hours is at all over the top, i go to school, and nearly all my friends will spend a minimum of 2 hours a night on MSN or watching TV and they can nearly always double this at a weekend, 2 hours out of 7 which you have at home very night. I myself can play upto 4 hours a night on the computer that still leaves me 1-2 hours to do homework, and 1-2 hours to keep myself fit, whats the worry about? :)
what is your opinion?

I think children should spend sometime watching TV, reading magazines or surfing on the internet to get knowledge of all the world. But it shouldn't expand the barriers so as to waste the precious time of kids. They had to spend decent time in studying, playing and other activities as well.
