This is because some discussions you may have replied to have been deleted (perhaps because they violated the rules). The money recovered is redistributed, so the only ones who are the losers are the people who consistently respond to bad discussions, make bad responses or break the rules. To avoid this, make sure that you respond at length to good discussions, not ones which are pointless or which flout the guidelines. This way you may even see your earnings increase when MyLot have a clear out session. This has happenned to me several times. There was one day when I found I had over $1 extra overnight!
