Work VS school

So, i hear a lot of grownups say : hey, i wish i was still in school ,it is a lot less work then having a job. Now, for most off the people i know i have to disagree. They have 8 to 4 jobs, while we have to go to school. Thats the same, but when we get home, we have to do homework, sometimes till 8/9 o clock. Big difference, at least that is what i think. What is your view on this?
