With injection engines it's better to wait 1 or 2 seconds since you start the engine to the moment you press the throttle to move the car. I always use my seatbelt. it is a state law where i live and i've gotten in such a habit of wearing it that i will go to other states that don't make you wear them and the first thing that i will do it reach over and put the belt on. It's just something that i do automatically now.

I don't. I know it is not safe. My family doesn't use seat belt actually. Here, in my country, wearing of seat belts is not that strictly implemented. If I remember it right, it was only a few years back that cab drivers should wear seat belts was implemented. But, the rule was only for cab drivers (and most of them only wear seat belts if they see a traffic enforcer ahead of them). Wearing of seat belt is a must for safety while riding a car especially if you are driving. Even though, I don't wear seat belt, I will make sure that my kid will always wear a seat belt when ever he rides a car.
