Why do some people not have an avatar?

I dont understand why some people dont have a pic in their avatar. I mean for newbies with less that 50 posts its understandable, but there are lots of people with several 100 posts who still dont have an avatar. I often dont read discusstions started by someone without an avatar, it seems like they are all the same and have no identity. If you do not have a pic in your avatar I highly recommend that you get one!

I don't think avatar is more important in a community like Mylot where people are discussing about their real life problem and not a sci-fi stories are discussed here..So it is more important in what and how you respond the queries and start discusiions..

I love changing my avatar picture i guess others just don't take the time to make there profile. I have fun with my profile :) Have a great day!

dont know exactly the matter but , i think people get engaged in posting and starting discussions and their mind set up as to earn only , so probably they think that it iw worth time wasting for avtar and other , but later on when they became addicted they do all these things
