I will not give more preference for the principles than the persons we loved. My first preference is for the living beings then only i will go for principles and all.Never give more preference for such a things and don't leave the persons who love's you.

as far as i am concerned, my principles are very important.
i have only one principle, not to do something that would cause me shame in front of my mother.
so according to my principle if i dont do anything to save a life, however small, be it human or animal, it would bring me shame.
if my family, friends and other human beings will die because of my principle then what is the use of those principles.
but ofcourse, this is applicable only in normal day to day life. in many cases i would be willing to risk my life rather than foresake my principles, but not someone elses.
but lets say that someone's honour was at stake, or my country's honour was at stake... in that case i think that the principle should be more important than life, because i dont consider living without honour as a life worth living.

In my own perspective, sticking to the principles I've learned helped me live the right way and make critical decisions in times of distress. I speak for myself, having principles in life means having the mind of Christ. But I think if the lives of people I dearly love is on the line... compromising is the best thing I could think of in order to save the lives of many.

If the life on my loved ones is involved I would change my principles of life. Life of the loved ones is much more important than my principles of life.
