Since Christmas falls on a Monday

How many of you are taking extra days off to extend your 3-day weekend? I'm taking Friday off too.

Our offices were closed for 3 days, Mon - Weds so I have also taken Thurs and Fri as leave. The offices are closed again Mon - Tues for New Year so I go back to work on Weds. 10 days without work whooppee!!

time off from work - some work on holidays and some of us can take extra time. Balance is good if only it was actively pursued
I suppose I am the lucky one, since the factory I work in for another company closed on Friday and do not go back til Wednesday and Thursday and then off til the following Tuesday again. I guess I did take extra time however my hubby filled in with the other worker Thursday nite. Now those days are without pay so it depends on how lucky one might think that I am. Of course keep in mind that I am catching up around home while preparing for Christmas.
