pluto - The International Astronomical Union (IAU) has downgraded the status of Pluto to that of a "dwarf planet,"
YES pluto is still a planet but now it is in category of the "dwarf planets". At an average distance of over three billion miles from the Sun, Pluto is very much off by itself. Pluto is so small that six moons of the solar system are larger than this small planet. Pluto has three moons. Charon, which was discovered in 1978, and two other moons called Nix and Hydra, which were discovered in 2005.

I don’t think it a planet now. It was declared recently. It should be removed from books. It had an elliptical orbit. If it considered planet many new planets similar to this should be added.
