no more christmas

What if suddenly their was no more christmas? If we were not allowed to celebrate it. How would you feel?I know that would never happen.

That's a really interesting question, and no it would never really happen, but if it did I'm not sure how I would feel. Not to get too political about it all, but it seems like more and more of our civil liberties have been put aside in the interest of national security. Christmas would never come into something like that, but wow, what if it did.
A thought just occurred to me about Dr Seuss's How The Grinch Stole Christmas. In that story, the Grinch stole all of the trees and decorations and presents etc, but he couldn't steal the spirit of the people he stole from. I think that maybe Christmas being pulled might help some people remember what it's truly about, in the hearts, instead of the pocketbook.
It's a really interesting question to ponder.
