Well the one good thing will be to not buy a big chocolate..:)
So if You have it already then eat now small piece of it. Keep thinking that You can also enjoy in it couple hours later, also offer someone else to taste it, so think positive, let someone else also enjoy with You in this chocolate...:)

There have been reports that eating plain chocolate (the bitter type) with over 80% cocoa is good for you, and you use almost as many calories eating it than you get from it in the first place, so if you send me all your plain chocolate then I'll eat it for you and you won't have to worry about my expanding waistline.

It wasn't plain chocolate, it was milk chocolate, but I'll gladly swap the rest of my milk chocolate for whatever plain chocolate you have. You can send me the plain chocolate first.

Ok. You'll have to collect though because I don't think I can get off this chair. I think I put on 16 pounds since I sat down.

Pack them up in a box, wrap them and send on to me!!.
Actually I put a post up here a while ago about much the same thing. I opened a lemon merangue pie for a slice. That was bad enough at 11 at night but of course one slice wasnt enough. I ate over half the pie. That was a few hours after having a full chineese takeaway. Im eating constantly the last few months and its showing. Big diet for me in Jan.

I think it's the time of year.....it's just so difficult to stop eating rich, luscious foods. In the summer it's easier to snack on fruit and stuff.
I'm imagining stuff. I never snack on fruit.
I'm going on a diet in January too. I'll race you. :p

You have just reminded me that I have a few tins of sweets to give as Christmas presents. Now I am going to open one and start scoffing them. See what you have done! Luckily I am not going to your house for Christmas, as you would be minus a tin of sweets. Before I go, here is a tip. Have a roll of duck tape beside the tin and each time you take a sweet out, stick the lid of the tin back on with the duck tape. You may still eat the whole tin of sweets, but it will take you longer to do so.

Great idea Alexandria. I'm sure you must work as a dietician or something. With tips like those you'd be an asset to weekly publications such as Woman's Way and Woman's Own.

Well, if I look in a small mirror that only shows from my neck up then I look ok. :)

LOL pookie. It's a pity you didn't post that a month ago. Mind you, the kids did manage their fair share of the chocolates. :)

Too late! I've eaten every single last one of them. I can send the wrappers is you like. With the cost of recycling here it would probably be cheaper for me to get rid of them by posting them to you.

Exercise some self control. The best way to diet is to stregthen you will power. Try keeping a fast for ne day in a week. As in... decide just to have fruit or boiled vegetable or whatever u like the least but is very bnutritious and good for your health. If you can have what u don't like much atleast once in a day, you'll raise your will power to the extent of controlling the demands of your taste buds.

My suggestion would be to give them to your husband or other hal and tell him to hide them on you . This is what I do when I want to stop something and just think you will lose the weight from trying to rip your house apart looking for them again :)
