Magnolia - Frogs

Anyone know the meaning behind the raining frogs?

I think it had something to do with that fact that all this screwed up and intense stuff was happening and building towards a climax. Then there's all these frogs falling from the sky, and it made everyone stop and they were distracted from their problems. It's a weird way of saying that no matter how bad things can be in life, there's always a chance something can happen that shadows whatever you may think is important and worth living for.

i guess both of the above reasons seem adequate. The Exodus 8:2 reference does keep happening throughout the movie..come to think of it though, i dont think the movie could have ended any other way. The director did a fantastic job of pounding the viewer with frogs!
