Hello fellow Mylotters, A little story for all you let me know what you think! Today I had no coffee cups at home, I figured I wait till I get to work and take one of theirs. They had none either, so ask the manager if we had new promotional mugs, he said if we did they would be in the closet, if not just wash one of the ones in the cabinet.Well there was no new ones so I reached for one out of the cabinet. Let me just say there wasn't one that was even rinsed out before it got shoved in their. How would you feel? No big deal just wash it, or would you gag and suffer through the day with out the morning kick!

I would have washed them all and then posted a big sign telling everyone to wash them when they are done or leave them alone, cause thier mom is not going to come and clean up after them. That is just disrepectful of some people to leave thier dirty dishes like that at work. lol sorry we used to have this problem at work but that is how I took care of it. And yes it did piss some people off but it got my point across.

I would have left the dirty cups and either gone out for a cup "to go" or suffered without it. Some people are just so inconsiderate and lazy. I think this is a problem in every workplace; this and people whose lunch messes up the microwave and they leave it for someone else to clean (another one of my pet peeves!). I can't see humoring the lazy people with a sign that their mother does not work there- they already know the rules, I'm sure, and choose to be inconsiderate. Although a sign is a friendly way to get the point across... it avoids a confrontation.

Big kudos! I marked you as best response. Disrespectful indeed, Imagine if you were the customer looking for the coffee cup, would they still expect them to wash it out in the bathroom sink with soap and hot water no sponge!

Thanks for the response, I'll admit I have left my travel mug a few days, but when I find it I throw it away!

I have no problems with them once I wash them up to my liking.

Was it a HUGE problem for you maybe to wash the cup up then? It might not have been cleaned by the previous user, but surely you could have washed it up then poured your coffee

Not a HUGE problem, I just wanted opinions from other people, to see how they would act. I Personlly didn't care, I'd rather not have my coffee. We do have soap and hot water but the paper towels probably wouldn't of got the chunky dried coffee off the bottom. Would you wash just the one or all of them?
