If your parents want,s you to make a doctor and you want,s to make a engineer so what you will do

i think you should do whatever makes you happy parents always want what is best for their children but once the child gets older it is no longer the parents right to decide what is going to happen to the child it is the childs decision to do what is best for them they are the ones that have to work the job and make the money and take care of themselves so they should be able to do that the way they want to

Exactly! Parents love their children but they also want us to have a good life. But for you to have a good and happy life you do need to follow your heart. After awhile your parents will come around to your understanding especially when they see you happy.

Do whatever it is that will get you to your desired destination. If you want to become a engineer do it because you love engineering. If you think that your parents will be completely devastated, and you value family, you might consider being a doctor. It all depends on how strongly you feel about engineering and how strongly your parents feel about doctoring. But keep in mind that it is only a job. Family has to be the most important. Try your hardest to let them see that you want to be an engineer.
What is so good about being a doctor anyway, Have your parents told you why they want you to be a doctor?
