Canada

So the conservatives have recently said that in Canada they will begin to be smore strict on those smoking drugs and driving. I know from personal experience i drive half the speed and am a lot LESS reckless when stoned. What do you think? How will they test if you are 'under the influence'?

When I used to use, I wouldn't drive if I got too high because I was so paranoid about it. I was always afraid of not seeing something and hitting something. Deer, expecially, with the area I live. We've got lots of trees and fields. Heck, I'm a careful driver as it is. I really wouldn't want to test my skills if I was stoned. I don't smoke anymore, but from what I know - different people react to pot in different ways. It all depends on the person. Some people really wouldn't be safe enough to drive while high. Others would be fine.

all they have to do is look at those eyes. Bloodshot heavy lidded, totally gonzo gaze. They know what they are looking for. For me I am also a much more careful driver when I am blazed than when I am not but I don't drive anymore when I am stoned or when I am not and my fiancee won't smoke and drive at all.

They would first of all probably do some field sobriety tests just like they do with drunk driving. I personally don't drive after I've been smoking.
