What is your occupation, career...What do you "Do"?

I'm curious about you...what is your occupation? Why do you do "Mylot?" I am a high school teacher and K-12 guidance counselor, so I work from 8 to 4 M-F, weekends off. I have summers off also, during which I need to attend classes to keep my teaching certificate current. Sometimes I've held a part-time job. I love my job, being a resource for the kids, and getting to obsess about my subject matter. I teach at a private school where funds are very tight. Our pay is substantially lower than public schools in the area, but I love the school. Because of my pay, and my husband's fluctuating income, we often find ourselves short of money. I started Mylot because of the few cents I could make...I am surprised at how it adds up. I continue to do Mylot for the money, but also I find it a fascinating study of people, ideas, and discussions! How about you?
